Match Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, at the Newstead Miner's Welfare, Newstead Village, Nottinghamshire. Judging starts at 8.00 pm.

We have a Christmas Match in December, with plenty of food and festivities, together with a fancy dress competition (for both dogs and handlers!).

In January, we hold N.S.F.K.A.s Dog and Puppy of the Year. The winners of which go through to the South Yorkshire Hound's "Supermatch" and Coalville's "Inter Club Puppy Challenge". Last year (2001), Nottingham Sherwood Foresters won the Inter Club Puppy Challenge with John Waterfield's Whippet, "Nevedith Zedfa Zappa at Aquilegia", judged by Mavis Sykes. Well Done!
